Human Development Index Rankings
Ranked by the UN's Human Development Index, which folds life expectancy, schooling and income into one 0–1 score. It's the standard development yardstick, and like all composites it hides trade-offs. Two countries with identical HDI can feel nothing alike. Positions are UNDP's own, for 2023 data: tied countries share a rank, and UNDP also ranks Hong Kong and Palestine, which this list doesn't carry.
In the latest UNDP Human Development Report data, Iceland leads at 0.972, ahead of Norway and Switzerland.

A ranking can't weigh what matters to you.
One table, one metric. Your decision has a budget, a timeline and dealbreakers — the matcher asks about those, then answers with this same data.
